    I mounted this on the ceiling of my broom closet. Installation was fairly simple, except I found it a bit difficult to attach the device to the mounting plate it did not want to catch. I am not looking forward to replacing the batteries because of that. The light works well, though, and it comes on whenever the door is opened.

    I have just installed my third one of these. For a third location, since the others are doing fine. It does what it says it does and provides quite a bit of light. One of the three units is on a staircase that gets a lot of traffic from our cats. That ine needs new batteries about every two months, since it is being switched on and off many times a day. The one in a closet goes a very long time on a set. The new one will probably be somewhere in the middle. Anyway, reasonably priced and delivers as advertised.
