Very pretty lamp, goes with my Victorian style bathroom in fact its the only model at John Lewis that could vaguely remind of a Victorian style. As it goes over a mirror, I wish there the lamp would have fallen a bit further out from the wall. But overall very pretty.

I received these today and theyre stunning. I was almost put off by the bad reviews but Im glad I wasnt. The shade is held in by two robust metal clips and I see no danger of it falling. This seems to be a standard way of securing glass lamp shades. The size is perfect for one either side of our mirror and is exactly as expected. I cant wait for the bathroom to be finished

Not fitted yet, but they fit well in as a pair in a tight space with the Miller Oslo mirror. the edges of the shades are a little rough, but will be hidden anyway, and about half the price Ive paid for other bathroom lights, so excellent value.

We bought 5 of these lights for our bathroom and must say they are absolutely beautiful So elegant and reasonably priced. You do have to be careful attaching the white dome to the chrome but it wasnt a negative for us. I would say a daylight bulb would suite these lights best we tried warm white however found it looked quite yellowish. You wont be disappointed with these lights.
